    Our Planning, Transport and Design team is hugely successful with a growing portfolio of impressive projects and clients in the public and private sectors.  We are a vibrant RTPI award winning team working with some of the nation’s most prestigious clients on a wide range of exciting projects across the country.  Our team has been established for over 25 years and has a highly impressive reputation for delivering technical excellence and innovative solutions – that is why we have retained so many major clients throughout this period and are continuing to grow rapidly.

     

    Due to our continued success, we are seeking a Senior Consultant Town Planners to join our planning team in Leamington Spa or Birmingham.  We are also seeking more junior Consultant grade planners to join our Leamington Spa team.

     

    Our Leamington Spa team has the largest number of Chartered Town Planners of any planning consultancy in the West Midlands (RTPI Planning Consultancy Survey 2016).  The team works throughout the UK with major land owners, house builders and developers, Government departments and agencies, local authorities, infrastructure providers, utility and energy companies. Our projects are often high profile and at the leading edge of professional practice.

     

    Our new central Birmingham office is focused on spearheading the growth of our planning, development and regeneration business in the Birmingham and West Midlands area. The Birmingham office provides exciting opportunities for ambitious and outstanding career minded individuals who wish to focus on business development activities in the Birmingham and West Midlands area.

     

    Attributes

     

    • Qualified to degree level in Town Planning and a full member of the RTPI.
    • Technical excellence in planning including planning applications and planning policy.
    • Private sector consultancy experience in the UK.
    • Confident and persuasive with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ambition and ability to develop new client relationships and assist with the management of existing key clients.
    • Excellent project management skills.
    • Experience of business development and preparing proposals.
    • Experience of leading multi- disciplinary projects.

     

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    If applying for a Leamington Spa location you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary technical teams, co-ordinating the submission of planning applications for a variety of schemes, and advising on the promotion of strategic land. You will have the opportunity to win your own business and will play an important part in the continued growth of our team.

     

    Applicants for the Birmingham position will support the work of the Head of Planning – Birmingham in growing our planning, development and regeneration business.
