Overview / Responsibilities



Wood is recruiting for a Bid Support role to help with the preparation of proposals and tenders at the Harwell Office. Graduates or those with good administrative skills would be suitable, if the candidate can demonstrate a passion for gaining experience in winning business and are able to show organisational and good writing skills.  




  • Produces fit-for-purpose deliverables such as prequalification documents, expressions of interest and proposal documentation for customers – based on existing material or from others participating in the bid process (the bid team)
  • Ensuring that appropriate company approvals processes (commercial and financial) are followed.
  • Supports the management of a portfolio of bids at the Harwell office




Skills / Qualifications

  • Honours Degree (or equivalent)
  • Pro-active and effective verbal communication skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Some general commercial and financial knowledge is desirable
