Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for an HR Admin Assistant to be based in Manila to provide an integrated HR service aligned to achieving business objectives while effectively representing the HR function and AMEC Foster Wheeler’s values.


Areas of responsibility will extend across Philippines and international work locations.  Contribute to and support the business unit and HR function, as an integral member of each, in the achievement of objectives linked to business strategy, growth and development.


  • Deliver against agreed HR objectives and targets; Provide overall HR advisory and HR support to business unit leaders and employees
  • Lead overall HR services to employees; Lead and coordinate all recruitment and selection activities
  • Coordinate the On-Boarding programme for new employees
  • Administer the company welfare, benefit and insurance schemes including periodic reviews and updates
  • Coordinate and administer the annual performance management and salary review processes
  • Participate in HR related surveys and market research and keeping abreast with market trends and policies
  • Facilitate and administer training programmes
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain HR data and reporting for the payroll systems, and HR e-services applications
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of all employee data, records and documentation, as well as 201 File updating
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll report processing
  • Prepare and report of HR management reports as required, such as headcount, attrition and demographics
  • Escalate HR issues and problems as appropriate to Business Head, HR Leadership teams for review and resolution
  • Ensure all HR related activities comply with the local labour legislation in the Philippines
  • Manage key HR provider relationships with external parties
  • Manage ad hoc HR related activities and projects

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Generalist role / capacity, including Talent Management, Recruitment, Budget, Rewards and Systems, Employee Relations, Payroll and Organizational Development
  • Facilitation and Negotiation skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • At least 4 years’ experience as a HR Generalist
  • Exposure to the Shared Services industry is also desired
  • Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science or Social Science courses from a reputable university
