Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.


  • Receive, check, accurately record into DMS and distribute all project drawings and documentation in an efficient and expeditious manner as requested by engineers according to agreed Project and Corporate Procedures.
  • Monitor progress of in-house and Client reviews of technical data.
  • Where required, input progress information (received from discipline engineers) accurately at regular intervals as specified by the project.
  • Produce reports on documentation and progress as requested.
  • Ensure that hard copy and electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with QA requirements.
  • Contribute to compilation of final project dossiers, as built portfolios and archiving.
  • Produce exception reports on late documentation for management review.
  • Provide full co-operation for QA Group at internal audits, and similarly with external audit personnel for LRQA assessments. Rectify any agreed corrective actions/non conformities should these arise.
  • Undertake other tasks as requested by the Leader Document Control or Chief/Coordinator Document Control.
  • Carry out Document Control discipline audits as requested by Leader Document Control.
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Will be assigned to Jiang Men, Guangdong for project till Sep, 2019

Skills / Qualifications

  • DC experience: >3 years
  • FW DC experience: > 0 years
  • Location in Guang Dong is prior
  • Average performance
