Wood is currently recruiting for an Associate Director / Principal Civil Engineer to work in either our Reading or London offices. Your role will be to lead a team of engineers in the delivery of surface water and flood engineering concepts and designs for the proposed development at Heathrow airport. The team will work alongside our existing flood modellers to create, develop and detail innovative, functional and cost effective engineering solutions for the proposed surface water, pollution prevention and control systems on both the existing airport and the proposed expansion.
We are looking for individuals that have a strong base of technical skills, with excellent organisational and communication skills gained in either a multi-disciplinary or engineering consultancy environment who now want to enhance and diversify these skills within a growing organisation that will support their future development.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity to work on one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Europe and will allow you to grow a team to deliver this work as well as a wider portfolio of projects across a diverse range of sectors.
