Wood is currently recruiting for a Programme and Project Solutions (PPS) Functional Leader – Commercial Services to join the Project Management team. This post can be based in either our London, Reading, Bristol, Leamington Spa or Birmingham offices.
Our growing Programme and Project Service is seeking a Director level functional leader to further develop and grow the commercial service offering to customers across buildings and infrastructure sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing team as part of a major international engineering and consultancy business.
The role would suit an experienced quantity surveyor or commercial manager with expertise in estimating, procurement, contract preparation and management in capital projects in sectors such as defence, public buildings, education, healthcare, water, waste and airports.
The functional leader will be responsible for setting the strategy to develop the function and provide high quality services to customers including recruitment of staff, defining best practice, marketing of the service and supporting the teams delivering services to customers.
