  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Process Engineer - SRU (Sulphur Recovery Unit) for Duqm Refinery project to be initially based in Madrid Spain and once work at the EPC location has been completed, employee will be transferred to the Oman site. Successful candidate must be able to:

      

    • Contribute and be fully involved in design, engineering, P&ID reviews, HAZOPs, HAZANs and safety reviews
    • Handle independently process simulations and calculations
    • Prepare optimization reports where necessary and as directed by owner

    Skills / Qualifications

    • BSc. Engineering with a minimum of 12 years’ experience
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in refining and petrochemical industries
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in related designation
    • Must have executed major refinery projects as a Senior Process Engineer with an engineering contractor / PMC organization
    • Familiar licensor packages as well as co-ordination experience is mandatory
    • Must have extensive experience working as as Senior Process Engineer on Sulphur Recovery Unit.
