Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry, based in our Midrand office on a contract basis.


  • Execute assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards, within the man-hour and cost budgets and the project schedule targets
  • Coordinate all engineering and design activities
  • Coordinate and liaise with Client, Construction, Commissioning, Project Control, and Procurement personnel

Skills / Qualifications

  • B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant post-graduate experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Registered with ECSA as a professional engineer or engineering technologist (Equivalent registration recognized by ECSA via the Washington Accord will also be acceptable)
