Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an Agency Contractor Coordinator (Contractor Assurance Advisor) to workin with Altablue, Wood's internal agency.

 

The Role

 

To provide an ongoing high level of service and support to candidates before, during and on completion of an assignment. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a proactive approach to issues and activities.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

 

  • Making verbal and written offers to candidates, advising on the required screening process, sending out draft contracts to candidates where requested.
  • Confirming candidate start date and induction details
  • Conducting candidate inductions
  • Maintaining regular contact with candidates to understand their issues and queries
  • Advising candidates on relevant legislations
  • Assisting candidates with all payroll queries
  • Arranging and hosting regular Contractor Assurance events, workshops and seminars for both candidates and clients
  • Visiting candidates on site at their projects
  • Maintaining regular contact with key client representatives (including HR, hiring managers, project managers) to understand issues and upcoming activities that will affect the candidates
  • Advising and updating clients on changes in legislation and legal requirements

 

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge of:

  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Agency models and contractors (i.e. Limited company contractors, PAYE, sole traders, umbrella)
  • Legislations (including IR35), legal requirements and insurances for contractors

 Experience of:

  • Experience of HR IT Systems
  • Previous experience dealing with contractors, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
