    For our office in Kaiserslautern we are currently seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer

    As a full-stack web developer in our team your activities will focus on conception, implementation and documentation of our web and mobile software solutions. The requirements of clients and internal teams will be analysed and within the team you will contribute to the design and realisation of possible solutions.

    Your role:

    As part of an international team you will support our project personnel. Your main tasks will include:

    • Working in an agile development team you will be responsible for the technical approach and developing the business logic and interface of web and mobile applications, including the respective tests in HTML5/JavaScript/CSS3.
    • Development and maintenance of software solutions in geographical information systems (GIS)
    • Evaluation, design and implementation of project requirements in close cooperation with other internal departments and our clients.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • You will hold a degree in computer science, geoinformatics or you have relevant experience in this field.
    • You will have a sound knowledge in software engineering, object orientated design and its implementation in current web technologies.
    • You will be well versed in current development tools for version control, unit testing and continuous integration.
    • You will have experience in mobile development using Apache Cordova, PhoneGap, Ionic, AngularJS, Node.js or similar Frameworks.
    • You will have some experience in development of (complex) software systems as well as high quality standards.
    • You enjoy problem solving and have an affinity with IT, you are a dedicated team player and have a readiness to learn.
    • You bring excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to familiarize yourself quickly with existing software structures and new topics.
    • Knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS) and web mapping are an advantage but are not a requirement.
    • You can demonstrate good time management and self-discipline.
    • You can also demonstrate very good spoken and written language skills in German and English.
