Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Foster Wheeler is recruiting for an Assistant Logistic Coordinator to join our team in Brunei. The project will run over a five-year period with a possible two-year extension.


The incumbent must ensure the operation of best practice in all processes and procedures and be comfortable in dealing with Management and Supervision at all levels of the organization.


  • Update crew movement in BSP’s GLMS (offshore travel requests)
  • Prepare daily offshore travel requests via air and / or marine
  • Relay booking confirmations to vendors and / or sub-cons
  • Perform offshore confirmations, contacting vessels, sub-cons, and staff on time of check in and standby accordingly (as and when required from logistics coordinator)
  • Perform offshore confirmations, contacting vessels, sub-cons, staff on time of check in and standby accordingly
  • Responsible for daily movements into excel spreadsheet
  • Update all HSE renewals (sub cons and staff) into HRMS as directed
  • Responsible for any other duties as assigned by logistics coordinator
  • Assist Logistic Coordinator in providing support to personnel who are new to the Project
  • Order and arrange PPE to be issued to new start personnel
  • Ensure that accommodation arrangements are made for personnel travelling to and from the instillation

Skills / Qualifications


  • HR Logistics experience with large scale shutdown
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications including Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Knowledge of training standards and competencies required for offshore personnel  


  • Experience with hook-up logistics
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to present self-confidently; professional in manner and appearance
  • Data rational
  • Attention to detail
  • Hands on person who likes to get involved in the detail and follow through on situations to completion
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively work alone or in groups, work on own initiative, manage deadlines and with “Can Do” attitude
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and work with colleagues at all levels within the business
