  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Amec Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wood Plc, has been awarded the Asset Management Services Contract, to deliver the full scopes of maintenance services and projects execution for the Malampaya Project, one of most significant energy investments in the history of the Philippines. The Malampaya facilities are situated at offshore Palawan, onshore gas plant in Batangas and our office is at Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa City.


    We are currently looking for a Project-Based People and Organisation Lead to work in our Alabang office. This role is responsible for partnering with Contract and line managers to provide guidance and coaching for the effective management of our people and organisation. 


    • Support line management with development of workforce planning; talent management and succession plans; identification of employees for leadership development; execution of business cultural and change initiatives; and identification of learning opportunities
    • Enable and support leaders to achieve the shared vision and achievement of the business goals. Provide ongoing support in relation to P&O issues in order to develop solutions and resolve issues across the life-cycle of on-boarding, retention, remuneration, engagement, employee relations, employment law / relations and learning and development
    • Initiate organisation structure changes, recruitment, people movements, changes to employee conditions of employment and terminations
    • Operate as a key support member to the local contract management teams and the Assignment / Contract Manager with delivery of the People & Organisation agenda

    Skills / Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Degree level qualified
    • Ability to demonstrate level of experience
    • Evidence of Continuing Personnel Development 

    Minimum Experience:

    • Previous Business Partner or HR Advisory experience (minimum 5 years)
    • Previous mobilization experience desirable
    • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of employment law
    • Leadership & Management towards high performance experience
    • Experience of successfully developing, leading and implementing strategy, policy or operational plans
    • Proven ability to develop a good understanding of business issues / commercial awareness and how to identify and deliver P&O interventions and solutions to meet business needs
    • A level of Strategic P&O experience
    • Previous experience in new contract start up / mobilization desirable
