Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Engineer - Marine to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi, UAE


  • Work under an experienced Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to perform assignments that require structural design, analysis, and calculations for the design of waterfront structures and marine infrastructures projects, such as vessel mooring and berthing structures, breakwater and shore protection structures including sheet piling works
  • Apply standard engineering techniques for the analysis, design, detailing of waterfront structures, shore protection works and other maritime projects
  • Work closely with other disciplines in multidiscipline projects
  • Work as Civil / Structural Engineer for non-maritime projects involving design of civil and structural steel works

Skills / Qualifications

  • UG degree in Civil / Marine Engineering
  • Experience in structural analysis using standard software’s STAAD pro, SAP etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience total with at least 3 - 5 years marine civil experience
