  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently looking for an experienced Senior Rotating Equipment & Package Engineer that should have proven track record of working on FEED, EPC and PMC Projects for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical facilities.




    • Coordination of the job team taking care of the technical and organizational problems
    • Ensuring the compliance with contract requirements, the implementation of the established procedures and quality controls
    • Checking the Client’s standards and practices at the beginning of the job to highlight any “unusual requirements”
    • Preparation and issue of Project Job Specifications
    • Ensuring that the engineering activities be carried out within the established time schedule and the budget manhours allocated for the job
    • Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications, such as Material Requisition and Mechanical Data Sheets, for Enquiry of L.L.I. & Critical equipment  
    • Technical comparison and conditioning of bids for compliance with requisition and applicable standards
    • Final technical evaluation to support order placement  
    • Review and verification of equipment supplier’s engineering for compliance to Project requirements and International Standards, integration within project design and for control of interfaces
    • Inspection and construction support as necessary
    • Technical support for installation and commissioning
    • Review of new Edition of API standards and up-dating of Department Engineering Standards


    Skills / Qualifications

    • Should be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
    • Should have minimum 15 years of job experience in engineering of rotating equipment & packages
    • Should be a flexible team player and have good written and verbal communication skills
    • Should have preferably worked in process gas compressors, large pumps and variety of rotating equipment & package in oil & gas projects
    • Sound knowledge on API, ASME, ISO and other international codes
    • Fluent Italian
    • Good English
    • Computer literate within Microsoft Office
