  • Overview / Responsibilities

     

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in the Nuclear Industry.

    The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants,

    carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).

     

    The Quantity Surveyor will support to the Senior Quantity Surveyors managing the main Contract with the Employer and developing and commercially managing subcontracts. To develop an in-depth knowledge of the Contract and subcontract conditions of contract to be able to support the delivery team as required.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Process, Mechanical or Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation experience
    • Preferably experience working with NEC3.
    • Preferably experience of working for a contractor
    • Quantity Surveying qualification.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Min 3 yrs post qualification experience
