  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently looking for a Project Technical Assistant to support development of a number of projects in the petroleum, petrochemical, chemicals, Oil and Gas sector;

    • Managing client files and data files
    • Accessing USB sticks with client information and filing
    • Production of system P&IDs
    • Liaison with IEC on deliverables  
    • Formatting and checking documents prior to issuing to Document Control
    • Assisting with Technical Queries and issuing to Client and maintaining Log
    • Assisting with Notes of Meeting, issuing and maintaining logs.
    • Assisting with Weekly / Monthly Reports
    • Assisting with Org Charts and Presentations
    • Assisting with Correspondence to and from Client/ maintaining logs etc. in my absence.
    • Various other adhoc requirements
    • Assisting with general Project Engineering activities

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Fully conversant with word, excel, powerpoint
    • Able to format documents
    • Accuracy
    • Manipulation of spreadsheets
    • Effective teamwork is essential
    • Some previous project experience is preferred
    • CAD experience and basic knowledge is preferred
