  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Company Rep / Installation Engineer with a extensive relevant experience in oil and gas industry

     

     

    Required to represent the Client onboard the contractors vessel and supervise offshore installation activities, also working onshore in construction yards monitoring all phases of projects undertaken by contractors to ensure deliverables meet the specified quality requirements.

     

    The role is based offshore and in Lobito Yard, Angola, working a 4 weeks on \ 4 weeks off rotation, duration is for 3 full rotations.

    Skills / Qualifications

     

    Responsibilities:

    • To supervise installation activities controlling that their execution is in line with projects plans and highlighting any problem.
    • Verifying installation works compliance with project specifications, company procedures and quality requirements.
    • Reviewing Contractors daily progress report
    • Answer to the minor offshore site queries
    • Follow up offshore activities, verifying that all the installation activities are performed according to the project
    • Interfacing with the installation Contractor during offshore operations Verify the compliance of installation activities with the relevant HSE regulations
    • Coordinating with Logistic team and onshore yards supervisors to guarantee the delivery of materials for offshore installation
    • Prepare and send the Internal DPR

     

    Skills / Qualifications: 

    • HND / HNC in engineering subject or equivalent Bachelor Degree in engineering or mechanical engineering
    • Extensive relevant experience in oil and gas industry with a high level of offshore experience in conventional and deep water installation projects
    • Experience of the construction, installation and commissioning of offshore and subsea facilities, ROV operations, drilling and production operations as a plus
    • Knowledge and familiarity with International Standard and rules
    • Current BOSIET.
    • Excellent communication skill including a fluent knowledge of English
    • Excellent problem solving, flexibility and decision making skills
    • Planning target control
    • Relation management high ethical standard
