  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting HSEQ Supervisors with extensive offshore experience of conventional and deep water installation projects.


    Based onboard various contractor vessels responsible for the supervision of Contractor HSE performance in all HSE aspects related to offshore subsea campaigns.


    The role is based offshore working a 4 weeks on \ 4 weeks off rotation, duration is short term for 2-3 full rotations, due to start August 2018.

    Skills / Qualifications




    • Identifying hazards and recommending control measure/mitigation actions according to given work programs and schedules.
    • Verifying Contractor's adherence to HSE standards and best practice
    • HSE monitoring of Contractor activities , conducting regular inspection and ensuring the work being carried out is in line with approved JSA, Risk Assessment, Method Statement and approved Permit to Work System as well as latest instructions and procedures
    • Preparation, revision and auditing of Risk Assessment and Permit to Work process as required
    • Interfacing with all involved parties to address HSE issues
    • Conducing TBTs, Safety Stand-down, SIMOPS meeting with involved parties
    • Reporting to Company Rep onboard and onshore office on HSE data and statistics
    • Timely reporting of near-miss events and incidents as per communication protocols
    • Incident Investigation Team Leader/member when/as required


    Skills / Qualifications: 

    • Degree level in appropriate subject and/or an equivalent level of work experience
    • NEBOSH qualified or equivalent
    • Current BOSIET certification
    • Candidates require extensive relevant experience in oil and gas industry including a high level of offshore experience in conventional and deep water installation projects
    • Experience of the construction, installation and commissioning of offshore and subsea facilities, ROV operations, drilling and production operations
    • Strong communication skills including fluency in English and a proven ability to interface with both internal and external clients at all levels
    • Proven ability to work as part of an integrated multi-disciplined, multi-national operations team
    • Highly motivated and self-reliant
    • Excellent problem solving, flexibility and decision making skills
    • Planning target control                                                                                        
    • Relation management high ethical standard
