  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently bidding for a large Maintenance Project in Middle East. If awarded the work, we will have a requirement for a Technical Clerk to join the business. 


    • Record, place and track orders for products and/or services.
    • Operate computer terminal to log ordering and receiving and to retrieve and enter data in general.
    • Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing, copying and
    • compiling data, maintaining & filing records and report, and handling paperwork's.
    • Compile and maintain records for the team.
    • Prepare, issue, and send out packaging slips, mail, invoices, bills, receipts, etc. related to business activities.
    • May prepare and submit purchase orders for suppliers if required.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Two-year course graduate, preferably secretarial
    • Completion of phases 1& 2 of the ITC clerical training program. Four years' experience in the clerical field.
    • Ability to type in English at 45 net words per minute at 85% minimum
    • Able to  operate  the  word  processing  machines  or  personal computer.
