  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently bidding for a large Maintenance Project in Middle East. If awarded the work, we will have a requirement for a Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical to join the business. 


    • Receives & review Maintenance Work Order from planner and to review, accept/reject.
    • Follow up for materials with material coordinator.
    • Review and verify each job at Site.
    • Inform QC to provide procedure for the job and inspect the materials.
    • Execute the jobs as per weekly schedule prepared by planning.
    • Give clear idea and instruction about the job to craft foreman.
    • Extend close supervision in Electrical workshop and at site as well.
    • After completion of job confirm actual man-hours in SAP order, write daily activities reports and submit a copy to the superintendents of each job area.
    • Prepare time sheets and overtime authorization papers for the jobs done.
    • Ensure safety of the crafts and inspire them to achieve target safely.
    • Prepare Job Safety Analysis/Task Risk Analysis where require.
    • Work permit receiver and approvers as per CLIENT work permit system
    • Ensure proper approval of Work Permits by Operations/Maintenance.
    • Obtain Work Permits for Individual Job Requests
    • Inter face with other disciplines.
    • Ensure availability of required third party Equipment.
    • Obtain Job  Pack  from  Planning  Department  for  review  and correction.
    • View each Job Pack and return to Planning with the Correction when necessary.
    • Verify and check materials for each Emergency Requirement.
    • Fill up Man-hours expended against each Work Request
    • Record observations for improving Safety and Workmanship.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 10 to 12 years’ experience in Refinery or Petrochemical Plant in Electrical Engineering as Supervisor.
    • Having strong  supervisory background with  sound practical experience in multi-national and multi-craft supervision.
    • Solid experience in all Electrical works involving Plant Electrical and Substation Maintenance Activities.
    • Familiarity with maintenance programs, Engineering specifications, Codes, drawings, Industrial practices and procedures and or experience in Construction field added advantage.
    • English proficiency: Fluent both in writing and speaking.
