  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently bidding for a large Maintenance Project in Middle East. If awarded the work, we will have a requirement for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join the business. 


    • Leading the team to maintain the integrity of the facility and operating equipment to ensure on-going safe, reliable operations.
    • Monitor, analyze and give instructions to Field Engineers and Planners in order to meet  and exceed the company  targets and the KPI
    • Provide technical advice to the Field Engineers and Planners to optimize the work resources
    • Communicate constantly with Program/ Maintenance Manager to ensure agreement on priorities
    • Monitor that manpower is used effectively
    • Make site visits to ensure safe & effective work execution is carried out
    • Solid experience in all Electrical works involving Plant Electrical and Substation Maintenance Activities.
    • Familiarity with maintenance programs, Engineering specifications, Codes, drawings, Industrial practices and procedures and or experience in Construction field added advantage

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Hold a recognized degree in Engineering relevant to their discipline
    • Minimum 15 years’ experience in Refinery or Petrochemical Plant
    • Familiarity with maintenance programs, Engineering specifications, Codes, drawings, Industrial practices and procedures  and  or experience in construction filed added advantage
