    Wood is recruiting for a Site Coordination Manager to work on the ITER Project based in Aix-en-Provence, France.



    • Provides governance and leadership for how site coordination prioritizes safety
    • Development and governance over key strategic Coordination Procedures.
    • Implementation of Coordination meeting regimes and operating rythymns.
    • Influencing Change to non CMA construction teams & other site stakeholders.
    • Implementing site wide improvement initiatives to improve site working standards
    • Management of all logistic aspects relating to delivery of materials to the construction site and contractors for CMA /IO, through collaborative working with F4E/ENGAGE
    • Drives the productivity and value offering from the Transversal support contracts through the CMA management teams for scaffolding, lifting and handling.
    • Direct day to day operational management for the General Service Contract.
    • Leadership and governance for the implementation of EPTW system across site platform and ongoing management of E-permit To Work process, ensuring timely delivery of PTW Issuance to the construction contractors
    • Monitors and coordinates site-wide activities through daily involvement at site work-faces, supported by appropriate delegation of embedded PDMT Coordinators.
    • Minimises site risk by anticipating them early and ensuring mitigation strategies are deployed.
    • Ensures that the site activities comply with all federal and local legal requirements.
    • Ensures that the site team are sufficiently resourced to provide safe coordination across the site Chair/support weekly look-ahead meetings and prepares weekly look-ahead reports to cover all of the site activities under CMA controls and to report on site wide activities
    • Participate in interface meetings with the customer representing the CMA Major interfaces:

    ►     CMA construction and completions teams

    ►     IO Construction organization

    ►     IO Facilities Management Logistics and Materials Management Group

    ►     F4E/ENGAGE site team (existing site coordination contractor)

    ►     DA Organizations




    Skills / Qualifications

    • Leading an embedding a safety culture within a team
    • Leading and managing processes and change within a functional area in a compliant manner
    • PTW Management operational experience
    • Developing and implementing site coordination construction processes and specification
    • Setting and monitoring site team performance and driving team motivation
    • Competence in diffusing complex problems and implementing corrective actions
