  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently bidding for a Technical Support of Water Services Project in Saudi Arabia. If awarded the work, we will have a requirement for a Water Treatment Consultant to join the business.


    The engineer should have experience in water related fields such as operation, maintenance, finance, contract management and water strategy. The likely duties and tasks of this engineer will be and not limited to the following:


    • Gather all required data and information by doing site visits and meetings with all stakeholders
    • Review all contracts, agreements, and related documents to provide possible improvement
    • Analyze data to find the most proper Water services structure and strategy that suits MODON
    • Evaluate current contracts in terms of services and revenue
    • Review current water management KPIs to provide possible improvement
    • Review and improve the current operator's reports and provide a new performance monitoring reports.
    • Review the current situation for all assets related to water and wastewater treatment plants in Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh


    Skills / Qualifications

    The engineer is to have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

    • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering preferably in water field.
    • Be a Charter level of membership of a recognized professional institution.
    • Have more than 20 years post graduate experience in the engineering design, operation, and contracts management of water.
    • Have a minimum of 10 years in a professional consultancy.
    • Have proven project experience in leading water projects and concession contract, more than 5 projects.
    • Had participated in tendering of water contract.
