Wood currently has an opportunity for a Lead Electrical Designer on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work, in accordance with the Discipline Design Instructions, including Wood and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the man-hour, cost budgets and the project schedule targets. The role will be for 8 months based in Staines.
The successful candidate will have experience of working on Oil and Gas projects, and must have experience including the ability to deliver the below document types/Electrical Design Functions with minimum supervision.
The candidate must be able to deliver other document types that may be required during the execution of the project such as :-
HNC in Electrical Engineering, or related subject
Experience in FEED/Detailed Engineering projects
Computer literate Microsoft office and Micro-station, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Smart Plant SP3D and SPEL Design Environment
Ability for work collaboration management with other global project offices
