  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently bidding for project in Iraq. If awarded the work, we will have a requirement for an Assessor & Trainer to join the business. If you want to express your interest, please apply and upload your updated CV.


    • Reporting findings and observations to the nominated client representative.
    • Good record keeping and audit trail of assessments and findings, both manual and electronic.
    • Utilise best industry practice/guidelines whilst developing the product, assessment systems/ conducting interviews.
    • Evaluation of candidate’s evidence and making assessment decisions.
    • Deliver positive feedback to candidates and clients.
    • Efficient and accurate delivery of product to an agreed clearly defined scope of work.
    • Good record keeping and audit trail of files and material created up to and including handover.
    • Align best use of technology with new markets and clients.
    • Report and record training and assessment outcomes.
    • Keep up to date with industry standards and practices in respect of Training/Assessment function

    Skills / Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Assessor qualifications L&D9DI (or equivalent A1, D32) essential


    Minimum Experience:

    • WIth minimum 7 years experience in the Oil and Gas sector or similar process orientated industry.


    Job-Specific Skills:

    • High standard of technical and professional knowledge.
    • Specialised knowledge in training/assessment methodologies and principles.
    • MS Office and report writing skills.
    • Seasoned presenter with ability to engage a diverse audience.
    • Good organisational skills
