  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Building Services Assistant to join our team.  The role reports to the Project Manager - Relocation and is based centrally in the Perth CBD.  This role is offered on a contract basis with possibility of extension and supports the day to day functionality of building and facilities operations.


    This is a very active role and we are looking for someone who has the ability to think on their feet and approach tasks with enthusiasm, working to service and support the wider team.  Our ideal candidate will take on space planning and troubleshooting desk allocation changes and and scheduling of relocations.



    • Coodination of internal staff relocations
    • Manage allocation of parking bays within the facility
    • Assist with new starter inductions and visitor inductions
    • Maintain register and allocation of security access cards
    • Assist with coordination of company functions
    • Participate in building committee safety meetings as required
    • Coodination and allocation of end of trip facilities for employees
    • Promote a positive company image, work well within a team and be a strong communicator
    • Provide administrative support to various business lines as required
    • Implement and maintain HSSE initiatives in conjunction with the HSSE group

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Computer skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Be adaptable and flexible with a strong desire to succeed and successfully close out actions
    • Effective communication, negotiation and relationship management skills, strong oral, written and numerical skills
    • Demonstrated organizational skills in time management, able to meet deadlines and managing competing priorities
    • To actively pursue excellent Health, Safety and Environmental performance standards and to encourage all staff to achieve or out perform the indicated HSE KPI’s of the company
