  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Static Equipment Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

    • Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, codes and standards
    • Review the project execution schedule and to develop the detailed schedule for Static discipline and/or Design activities
    • Carry out Mechanical Design of static equipment
    • Prepare Specification, Equipment Mechanical Datasheets / Engineering Drawing
    • Issue Material Requisition for Enquiry / Purchase
    • Review Vendors’ quotations, prepare Technical Bid Evaluation and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor
    • Review Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices
    • Attend internal FWH and Vendor co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings
    • Ensure Timely Production of Deliverables

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Candidate should hold Bachelor Degree on Chemical Equipment
    • Qualifications: Engineer
    • 5~10 years working experience on Static Equipment design work, and at least 5 years working experience on static Equipment discipline in International Engineering Company
    • Knowledge and experience on Static Equipment
    • Familiar with International and Chinese design codes and standards
    • Familiar with International Engineering Company working procedures
    • Good computer skill on static equipment design software (SW6, PV Elite) and normal software (Excel, Word and CAD etc.)
    • Solid teamwork spirit, and good communication skill with Client, Supplier and Contractors
    • Good English language skill on both writing and speaking
    • Be will to be assigned to domestic and overseas project
