  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Vessel & Heat Transfer Engineer to join the Engineering Team in Istanbul/Turkey.

    • Execution of the thermal design for heat transfer equipments
    • Execution of the mechanical design for pressure vessels, storage tanks according to international codes (ASME, API, EN)
    • Preparation of material requisition packages for the equipment purchasing and relevant technical bid conditioning/evaluation
    • Vendor follow-up
    • Coordination of vessel designers

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Preferably 1-3 years in Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing companies operating on industrial plants
    • Knowledge of Codeware Compress, PVElite, Solid Works, ANSYS, HTRI, AmeTank is preferable
    • Good capability to face issues and technical problems using different approaches
    • Significant ability to transfer/share with others information and opinions
    • Time consciousness, diligence and interest to learn and accept more responsibility
    • Knowledge of international codes/directive
    • Fluent in Turkish and English
