  • Overview / Responsibilities

    ITER is a unique, first-of-a-kind project that aims to demonstrate the technological and scientific feasibility of fusion energy.

     

    To meet a challenge of this magnitude, Wood, Assystem and KEPCO E&C have joined forces to create MOMENTUM, a joint-venture with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects in diverse industries including nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and mining.

    As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself.

    • Analysing engineering work packages (content, integrity, quality, link to schedule)
    • Define construction requirements input
    • Add relevant reference documents

     

    Major interfaces:

    • CMA construction and completions teams
    • CMA site coordination and PTW team
    • CMA Quality Control team
    • Domestic agency site team - F4E
    • Contractors site team

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Experienced in the construction of process installations including mostly piping.
    • Experience in piping construction
    • Ability to build square wok packages dossiers
    • Flexibility to adapt to processes not yet fully stabilised within the client/consortium
    • Capability to manipulate a high number of documents
    • Follow and apply instructions received
    • Reporting capability
    • 7+ years relevant experience in piping
    • Nuclear construction site-based experience (desirable)
    • Experience of industrial completions and quality management systems
    • Good spoken and written English language skills

     

     

    Please note that the successful candidate for this vacancy must either currently be based in France or be aware there are no relocation expenses available to support.
