Wood is currently recruiting for a Construction Planning Engineer to join our team in Baku, Azerbaijan. The successful candidate will be Accountable for Planning and Scheduling activities within the BP Caspian contract. This position will report directly to the Project Control Manager.

Knowledge and experience of project planning and scheduling principles and techniques within the Oil and Gas industry.
Must have detailed knowledge of and familiarity with manual and computerised project planning and scheduling techniques.
Details knowledge of project work breakdown structures (WBS) techniques to enable effective development and management of project schedules.
Good communicator who will liaise with Lead and Project Engineers to ensure schedules are produced and updated in a timely manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team player.
Planning and organisational skills. Proactive attitude and ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of the planning and scheduling process for Contract.
