  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood (trading locally as PSNK) is currently looking for a Package Coordinator to join our team in Atyrau. We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that the company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality projects to our client’s requirements.

    Basic Functions:

    The MAC Package Coordinator (MPC) provides technical support and coordination services, supporting and reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, Lead Package Engineers, or other sourcing effort.  The MPC will work closely with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer(s) and technical SME/DTA personnel to coordinate and verify the assembly, checking, inventory and review of the data. Coordinate the MAC Technical Deliverables related to design, fabrication, testing, packing, preservation and logistics of the assigned area of scope.


    Principal Responsibilities:


    • Support of delivery and technical compliance of the assigned package via assembly of documentation, data, certificates, or other documentation as directed by the responsible engineer for the assigned scope area.
    • Maintenance of Action Tracker, Risk Register, Technical clarification log and Preservation database.
    • Liaise with planning to align deliveries with Supply Chain and end client/fabricator.
    • Participate weekly progress meetings
    • Maintain Technical Clarifications from Vendors, Fabricators and Client and expedite timely responses from all departments, ensuring comments are incorporated by the appropriate discipline.
    • Liaise with Procurement during package delivery process to support Transport, Logistics, Storage, Preservation and Packing to Project standards.
    • Ensure that Vendors received and acknowledge acceptance to all PO/Sub Contract documentation (specifications, procedures, templates, SDRL, Scope of Work and etc.)
    • Interface with TCO Completions and Data Management as needed for the purpose of engineering, and project completion activities.    
    • Assisting with Management of Change process and expediting responses
    • Assisting expeditor to receive timely comments on Vendor/Fabricator submitted documentation.
    • Provide support to Supply Chain and Vendor for Heavy Lift, Load out meetings, Load out plans and attend as required
    • Attend interface meetings with TCO, PJV, MAC Construction and MAC Project teams when required, including recording of the required action and timely expediting of completion.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Degree preferred or equivalent
    • Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience
    • Good Commercial experience
    • Familiarity with the Project execution systems. Sound knowledge of systems in general

      Ability to understand the details / concepts in package processes from order commitment to delivery to location
