  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Support the Maintenance Department and Project Teams in the development of complex Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data builds, data cleansing and optimisation projects.

    Act as IMD Champion for the business, actively promoting the IMD both internally and externally. (The IMD, Integrated Maintenance Database, is Wood’s proprietary CMMS Build Tool.)

    Support the CMMS Data Team, improving performance, capability and growth of the CMMS data business and the use of IMD.

    With the assistance of the sales and business development colleagues increase the growth of the IMD data business.

    Executing assigned scopes of work and provide CMMS discipline expertise to the business

     

     

    • Act as the Integrated Maintenance Database (IMD) champion for the business, actively promoting the IMD both internally and externally
    • Provide IMD demonstrations to clients on behalf of business development
    • Provide IMD training on all modules with regards to functionality and best practice
    • Support management of the IMD maintenance and development budget
    • Execute CMMS data and systems engineering scope
    • Undertake data peer review checks and QA/QC
    • Provide CMMS discipline SME support to the wider Wood. business, when required
    • Aid and assist in bids and tenders over CMMS specific technical input, when required
    • Keep abreast of latest technological developments in CMMS development. Oversee business, research and development activities to ensure that Wood. is a market leader in CMMS data services
    • Develop and grow the network of CMMS clients and CMMS data specialists.
    • Define and maintain CMMS data training and competency standards
    • Provide guidance on project set-up with regards to data requirements/structure/delivery formats / client CMMS master data values
    • Act as custodian to the existing suite of CMMS data templates, standards and procedures
    • Develop data definition guide as per Data Project Execution Guidelines for all new data projects
    • Under instruction from UK Maintenance Manager, delegate tasks to junior personnel
    • Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific Wood. and Client procedures in execution of work activities.   Provide feedback for continuous   improvement of aforementioned procedures, if applicable

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • BSc, B.Eng, HNC, HND or equivalent.
    • Or
    • Proven hands on experience in CMMS data work
    • Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering a range of CMMS data work and delivering innovative technological solutions
    • Experience to one or more CMMS packages, specifically:
    • Maximo
    • SAP
    • Oracle
    • JD Edwards
    • AMOS
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Access skills, consolidated with detailed knowledge of SQL, Oracle or a programming language
    • Job-Specific Skills:
    • Intellectually capable, can interrogate and manage integrated hierarchal data files
    • Diligent and dependable in consistent application of established processes
    • Professional demeanor with appropriate interpersonal skills
    • Good team working skills
    • Good client facing skills including presentation capabilities
    • Empathise, motivate, challenge and support CMMS data team members
