  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently looking for a Scheduler (Planning) Engineering services for a project based in Teesside . Ideal candidate must have exstensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

     

    Workscope

     

    • Provide and maintain Safety and Environmental aims of the client.
    • Provide expert SAP planning / work prep education and coaching to the resident planning / work prep teams
    • Develop / Maintain communications and links that favourably influence Production & Maintenance performance.
    • Assist client to maximise asset availability potential, to deliver the expected production efficiency Maintain the required technical quality or work
    • Assist Client to identify shortfalls within their SAP data and procedures for planning and work prep
    • Agree SAP planning improvement action plan with client Maintenance Manager
    • Assist in the Development and control of the SAP improvement programme
    • Ensuring compliance with all statutory, client and company requirements
    • Promoting the highest standards of safety and environmental performance at all times
    • Ensuring the ongoing competence and development of Wood / work prep staff
    • Continually monitoring performance and actively implementing the agreed SAP improvement programme
    • Improving & developing the resident Teesside planning and work prep function in line with clients Maintenance execution delivery improvement plan  

     

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Technical College Graduate or Engineering Degree and extensive related experience. 
    • Experience working in a Consulting Engineering (EPC) environment and familiarity with typical engineering disciplines and documentation. 
    • Highly experienced in 4D and 5D simulation
    • Highly Proficient in using Primavera P6 scheduling software 
    • Strong understanding of EVMS processes
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff at all levels. 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
    • Previous experience in the mining industry is preferred particularly with construction experience from field assignments. 
    • Detail oriented, proactive approach and have good organizational and planning skills.
