  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for Thermal Engineer.

    • Carry out thermal design of various types of Heat Exchangers; shell - and - tube heat exchangers, air - cooled exchangers, and compact exchangers by using HTRI or Aspen software
    • Prepare thermal and heat exchanger datasheets
    • Perform the in - house calculation sheet and equipment sketch
    • Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, international standard and design code

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
    • Min 3 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industries
    • A good degree with a strong chemical engineering standpoint (including heat and mass transfer, transport phenomena, etc.)
    • Experience of heat exchanger thermal design using HTRI and mechanical design will be an advantage
    • Good communication in English
