  • Overview / Responsibilities

    • Have an understanding of the project scope of work, budget and schedule, particularly as it applies to Piping Engineering and Design.
    • Prepare/Develop and maintain project piping and valve specifications
    • Ensure coordination with other in-house departments.
    • Perform pipe wall thickness calculations.
    • Perform review of relevant vendor information.
    • Perform technical bid evaluation for pipe, fittings, valves, SP items, etc.
    • To be a part of site visit team on covering piping work on brownfield project.
    • Assist project team on engineering support during procurement and construction stage.
    • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, ANSI, API, NEMA, etc.)

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Required: Registered as Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
    • Preferred: 4-8 years in Oil and Gas Industry
    • Required: min 4+ years in offshore related engineering field
    • Having valid BOSEIT for offshore site visit.
