  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for a Reliability Engineer to join us. This position is required to manage all aspects of maintenance strategy and reliability relatedactivities. They will provide advice on the required maintenance frequencies and act as theinitial Focal Point for all reliability related issues/queries.

    • Ensure the technical integrity, reliability and availability of the facilities via effective
      reliability management to achieve the business objectives.
    • Analyzing reliability performance data and provide performance monitoring of Reliability
      issues and relevant key performance indicators
    • Own/Monitor database for reliability related issues and actions (Bad Actor lists)
    • Responsible for the maintenance strategies for all North Sabah assets including LCOT
    • Co-ordinate and facilitate/perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause
    • Analysis (RCA), Mitigate Threats to Availability (MTA) and Defect Elimination (DE)
      processes.
    • Provide input to Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies
    • Manage all the reliability and maintenance reports that are sent to Petronas on the
      quarterly basis
    • Provide reliability/maintenance expertise and advice for all equipment on North Sabah
      assets – including LCOT.
    • Review all PM change requests before implementation in Maximo
    • Authoring, checking and issuing of design documents for new equipment and PM’s as part
      of any brownfield or greenfield modifications.
    • Ability to lead a small team of technical personnel.
    • Contribute to business development
    • Provide technical support to all the North Sabah Assets.
    • Correctly adhere to the Company Health, Safety, Environment, & Quality policies.

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • A relevant recognised degree in Engineering
    • Registered professional engineer in Malaysia or is seeking such registration
    • Minimum 6 years’ experience with extensive relevant Reliability/Maintenance experience within the oil and gas sector
    • Knowledge of CMMS systems and how they should be structured
    • Basic understanding of oil & gas processing facilities.
    • Leadership and analytical skills to manage troubleshooting, incident investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
    • Ability to work in a multi-discipline and cultural environment is important.
    • The ability to prioritise work to meet company and project deadlines is essential.
