  • Overview / Responsibilities

    We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer on a 7x3 rotational basis located in Sakhalin. This role is responsible for design, specification and services related to Project Engineering.



    • Single point responsible for the efficient execution of assigned projects to deliver within schedule, cost, HSE and at an acceptable quality;
    • Develop scope of work handed over by the SEIC project engineer for each project to achieve the specified deliverables. Develop cost and schedule control estimates and project key control documentation. Bundling work packages and handing them to Melbourne and Aberdeen Delivery offices and Russian Design Institutes;
    • Responsible for management of all project reporting, interface definition, interface management, liaison with Wood project engineers, maintain and control project variance logs, project audit reports, managing close-out of audit action items, early highlight and resolution of project issues;
    • Standing in for Lead Offshore Project Engineer during rotation periods;
    • Interfacing with the client both in office and at site;
    • Interfacing with the client both in office and at site.

    Skills / Qualifications


    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design of oil and gas;
    • Experience of offshore construction preferred;
    • Experience of drilling equipment and rig modifications desirable;
    • Experience with DEPs desirable;
    • Degree in relevant Engineering discipline and membership of internationally recognised applicable professional institute and preferably Post Graduate degree in Engineering;
    • Recognised project management/management qualification desirable.
