    Join our collaborative team, working side by side with a global specialist chemicals company on a new and innovative project in the growing Lithium resources market to design, engineer and construct a world class processing facility.


    The greenfield project targeted to go into production in 2020 will produce Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate from a 3 train processing plant with a forecasted 60,000 per annum (Tpa) output. Further expansion plans into 2025 will see a total production of 100,000 tonnes per annum. The plant is to be constructed at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia and 17 km north-east of the thriving regional centre of Bunbury.

    Position Specifics and Deliverables

    • Support the Engineering Administrator in the delivery of their duties
    • Coordinate and undertake secretarial and administrative services to ensure efficient flow of information and correspondence
    • Establish and maintain hardcopy and electronic filing in accordance with project / business line procedures. Specific duties include coding of correspondence, filing, scanning, and distribution of documentation.
    • Document delivery and assembly including typing and document formatting of presentations, reports, memorandums, letters, specifications, datasheets, CVs and other documentation to ensure consistency of project deliverables with Wood standards.
    • Minute taking and distribution of minutes at project meetings
    • Ensure new starters are advised of office procedures, booking of meeting rooms etc, and general PC information including timesheet entry. Update project organizational charts, team lists and associated working group/personnel contact lists
    • Maintain the Request for Information/Technical Query (RFI/TQ) register
    • Carry out archiving of records as and when required

    Skills / Qualifications


    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project secretarial or similar role preferably within the mineral processing, construction or engineering industry
    • Knowledge of engineering and construction terminology
    • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
    • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
    • Ability to effectively carry out duties within tight time frames
    • Must have high attention to detail for all aspects of secretarial responsibilities
    • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) skill
    • Knowledge of controlling correspondence and documents including ability to maintain both electronic and hard copy filing as per project procedures
    • Good typing speed and accuracy
    • Diplomacy and ability to keep sensitive information confidential
