  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently sourcing for a PCS Maintenance Engineer on a permanent or contract basis for the Melbourne Water project located at the Winneke Treatment Plant.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a growing team of professionals who maintain and manage hardware and software modifications to Melbourne Water Facilities Control Systems
    • Focus will be on maintaining Melbourne Water’s control systems, supplemented with small-scale projects

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Degree qualified (Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer or similar). Suitably experienced candidates with vocational qualifications will be considered
    • Fault finding experience, especially control system communications and telemetry
    • System Integration experience
    • Experience in Allen Bradley PLCs and suite of software products, ie ControlLogix, SLCs PLC5, RSLogix 5/500/5000, FTView Studio, RSNetworx and RSLinx
    • Experience with GE Fanuc PLC's and/or Siemens PLC's (TIA Portal) would be an advantage
    • Experience with RTUs (especially Kingfishers) would be an advantage
    • Experience with extra low voltage fault diagnostics would be an advantage
    • Excellent time management skills, experience in managing self-performed projects and jobs
