  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Accountable to the MAC Cost Manager on matters concerning cost, Change Control, analysis, trending, reporting in respect to the management of the MAC Project cost reporting in conformance with the TCO FGP MAC Project.


    This role requires the individual to be the focal point of contact on all Change Control issues related to the MAC scope.


    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Supervising Change Coordinator (if applicable)
    • Maintain MAC Change Register and allocate PV numbers as required
    • Ensuring that all changes to the MAC scope are captured on PVs in conjunction with the MAC PMT
    • Process MAC PVs and approval cycle through management, liaising daily with stakeholders from both MAC and TCO
    • Incorporate PVs into Trends for TCO approval
    • Advise originators of approval to proceed
    • Ensure cost estimates are within project guidelines/agreed where necessary with the MAC Lead Cost Engineer
    • Ensure schedule estimates are within project guidelines/agreed where necessary with the MAC Lead Planning Engineer
    • Maintain the MAC Pacesetter Scope & Cost Modules, liaising with MAC Area Engineering Support Technicians where applicable
    • Maintain PV dashboards
    • Assist MAC Onshore. with TCO approvals
    • Receive PMOC register from TCO and circulate to management
    • Receive ITCs & ITPs from TCO and ensure that any new scope is captured on PVs
    • Organize MAC Fortnightly Trend meeting with TCO for both Onshore and Offshore
    • Organize MAC Internal Fortnightly Trend meeting for both Onshore and Offshore
    • Maintain Change Procedure and update as necessary
    • Maintain PV Change template & update with Scope Groups as necessary
    • Provide Change input into monthly cost report and assistance in maintaining the current approved budget
    • Coordinate quarterly review meetings of cumulative changes, analyzing both cost and schedule impacts
    • Support the Cost Manager with ad-hoc exercise as required

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
    • Significant relevant experience
    • Excellent supervisory skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience working with Delivery Teams and other Cost Engineers
    • Proficiency with Pacesetter, Excel and other leading Cost Tools expected
    • Proficiency with schedule and development and engineering/procurement scope definition an advantage
    • Excellent numeracy skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Familiarity with similar MAC Offshore engineering design and installation
