  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood have identified a requirement for the provision of  a P6 Maintenance Scheduler to provide scheduling services on a client site in Teesside.



    • Progress upon a pathway of job development within the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) service line and execute assigned scopes of work.
    • Provide maintenance scheduling expertise to the business and execute assigned scopes of work.
    • Deliver a plan of resources required to support execution in period.
    • Establish & maintain standard plans to reduce waste.
    • Liaise with internal and external customers and suppliers.
    • Liaise to ensure availability of asset and resources for the expeditious delivery of the work.
    • Revise and adjust schedules to reflect changes in priority
    • Analyse data and prepare reports for continuous improvement and Key Performance Indicators
    • utilising the appropriate analysis techniques.
    • Advise the Maintenance Manager on matters regarding scheduled maintenance.
    • Advise the relevant stakeholders on matters regarding continuous improvement in delivery. .
    • Understand the performance standards for service delivery and demonstrate how these are delivered within own area of activity.
    • Work to discipline and / or project specific procedures and provide feedback on continuous improvement.


    Skills / Qualifications

    • A suitable level of academic achievement at school and working towards a further level of achievement such as an HND / HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
    • Demonstrable appropriate experience at relevant level and position.
    • Primavera P6
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn.
    • Flexible with a can-do attitude.
    • Capable of working with the Microsoft office suite and ideally including working with databases.
    • Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant scheduling software.
    • Able to demonstrate effective team working skills.
    • General understanding of change control, risk analysis and planning.
