  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently looking for interest in a role  for an experienced Electronic Publisher required for formatting/page layout of technical procedures and documentation to set specifications using templates, styles etc.

     

    A high level of competence in MS Word is essential and experience in other document publishing software including e-Pubs and InDesign would be an advantage.

     

    Applicants must be able to demonstrate the required formatting skills, working efficiently and accurately and be able to work well within a busy team to tight deadlines.

     

    Please note that this is an expression of interest role.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Provides electronic publishing services to internal and external clients in order to meet strict specification/deliverable requirements whilst ensuring that quality standards are maintained
    • Manages their work in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions and priorities advised by the Electronic Publishing Lead
    • Manages data in a controlled and efficient manner in accordance with departmental working practices as advised by the Electronic Publishing Lead
    • Contributes to the ongoing development of working practices through feeding back relevant information/suggestions to the appropriate parties
    • Maintains job-specific and company records in an appropriate and timely manner
    • Adheres to clear file structures and manages electronic files, ensuring an auditable, electronic trail for all work undertaken

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar post or equivalent

    Job-specific Skills:

    • Processes:
      • Work experience related to the oil and gas industry (or similar)
    • Admin/Business:
      • Demonstrable experience in the use of Microsoft Word
      • Demonstrable experience in the use of Adobe Acrobat
