Due to a continued success across a range of sectors throughout the UK we are looking to recruit a Consultant to join our Historic Environment team. This role could be based in one of our offices in Reading, Shewsbury, London or Newcastle.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Historic Environment team in terms of delivering environmental consultancy services to a full range of UK-based and international customers.
The role will include:
You will be educated to degree level and have a sound background in British archaeology and a thorough knowledge of heritage conservation policy. Experience of working with historic buildings is desirable, as is membership of a relevant professional organisation.
An ability to communicate clearly both verbally and through written work is essential. IT skills and knowledge of GIS systems will be advantageous.
As a Consultant you should have the desire to progress to eventually fulfil a project management role.
The post holder will be required to undertake site visits and walkover surveys, as well as visiting client premises and Wood’s other offices. The role will involve away working and a full driving licence will be required.
