    We are currently recruiting for a Project Reporting Engineer with experience in the oil and gas or nuclear industry. As the demand for our expertise continues to grow an opportunity has arisen for a Project Reporting Engineer to work as part of the Wood Project Delivery Function on a large decommissioning project.

    BPSS Clearance is required.  


    Reporting to the Project Controls Manager and is responsible for:

    • Supporting and producing weekly/monthly performance and progress reports
    • Arranging & actively participate in monthly accountability meetings with the PM function to challenge and understand performance.
    • Produces accurate and timely monthly reports, including underpinning data, for the Project Management, Client, JV and JV Executive board as required.
    • Analyse the project data including forecasts, trends, actuals and earned value data
    • Produce and analyse project data specific to the EPCC phases, comparing metric forecasts against the actuals and earned values
    • Accumulates and reports on KPI’s as required.
    • Maintains project historical performance data
    • Work with project controls colleagues and the wider delivery teams to identify areas for schedule and cost improvement
    • Own and maintain the project reporting calendar. Ensure that reports are delivered on time with agreed content


    Skills / Qualifications


    • Experience & Understanding of Project Controls functions.
    • Experience of Management reporting
    • Use of P6 and understanding of Earned Value Management
    • Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multi-discipline environment.
    • Require a self-starter, able to communicate orally & written at all levels of the project (Senior Management, Client, Junior level)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Understanding of planning software such as Primavera P6.
    • PowerBi reporting tool (would be preferable)


    • Bachelor degree an advantage, but not essential
    • A QCF qualification in Project Controls an advantage, but not essential
