  • Overview / Responsibilities


    Wood is currently recruiting for a Workover Supervisor with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. This position will be located in Equatorial Guinea and will be on a 28/28 rotation.



    • Responsible for well kill operations on remote platforms
    • Revising workover programs and equipment
    • Running and pulling Electric Submersible Pumps
    • Performing workovers and running completions, logging and perforating,coil tubing, well testing and well intervention operations



    Skills / Qualifications


    • Valid Well Control certification
    • Must be able to communicate in English
    • Ease of entry into Equatorial Guinea
    • Workover Experience: > 5yrs
    • Offshore experience
    • Computer literacy
    • Writing workover procedures
    • Able to adapt to multinational crew



    Nice to have:

    • Engineering degree
    • Hydraulic Workover Unit experience
    • ESPs completion experience
    • West Africa work experience
    • Any relevant work experience in the following areas: ESP, Wireline, Slickline, Completion elements, perforation, chemical reservoir stimulation
    • Quick thinker, able to work in a small & dynamic organization
