  • Overview / Responsibilities


    Wood is currently recruiting for an Offshore HSE Technician with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.


    This position is a 3-4 month contract and is a 14/14 rotation.


    Will only consider Equatorial Guinean candidates


    • Facilitate daily permit to work and JSA activities
    • Facilitate company PPE program including monitoring of stock and ordering
    • Performs data entry and recordkeeping for various EHS programs: ie Inspections
    • Assists in accumulation and reporting of EHS performance metrics
    • Assists with waste management program duties
    • Maintains filing system and performs document retention duties
    • Supports or provides EHS Training program including conducting Spanish sessions
    • Performs facility inspections and preventative maintenance of EHS Equipment

    Plus, any other duties that may additionally be required as part of the role as operational requirements change.











    Skills / Qualifications

    Person Specification:

    Technical / Business Skills:

    (e.g. Project Management Methodologies, Negotiating Terms & Conditions, Cost Models etc)


    ·         Typically requires 3 years of oil and gas or similar industry EHS experience



    Interpersonal Skills:

    (e.g. oral & written communication, customer liaison, team player, etc)

    ·         Leader in Safety initiatives

    ·         Self-driven personality.

    ·         Eager to continue development.




    (e.g. Core Behaviours, Transferable Competencies & Role Based Competencies)

    ·         Competent in Microsoft Office application software.


    Business & Industry Experience: (e.g. significant experience in process engineering, offshore role etc)


    ·          Typically requires 3 years of oil and gas or similar industry EHS experience


    Educational Attainments:

    (e.g. Trade Qualifications, Degree, etc)

    College degree required·
