    Wood is currently searching for a QA Advisor to join us. He/She will be supporting the Project Manager and Coporate QA Manager on day to day QA activities.  The QA Advisor will be reporting directly to the QA Manager. 


    Job Description


    • Coordinates, advises and provides guidance on the application of the Quality Management System on Projects to:
      • Project Management
      • Project Personnel
    • Implements, maintains, monitors and reports on the status of Quality Management activities on the Project.
    • Responsible for implementation of Quality Management System requirements and ensuring the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 are implemented across projects.
    • Prepare Project Quality Plan in accordance with Company Policy and Contractual requirements, for approval by the Project Manager
    • Responsible for implementation of Quality Management System requirements and ensures that it is implemented across all projects assigned.
    • Provide advice and guidance to Project Management personnel on the application of the Quality Management System in relation to Project Execution activities.
    • Review pre-qualification of contractors from quality requirements perspective.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of the Quality System by conducting audits in accordance with the Project Quality System Audit Schedule.
    • Develop checklists/flowcharts from applicable procedures, for use during auditing and to provide objective evidence as may be needed.
    • Maintain records, including logs, of all QA documentation (and its verification) to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System at Project level.
    • Ensure proper root cause analysis of Quality failures is undertaken, and conclusions are reached, and corrective actions undertaken.
    • Establish and implement QA training / information requirements for Project Team members with the agreement of the Quality Assurance and Project Manager.
    • Provision of advice and support to Projects during surveillance and re-certification audits undertaken by the Third-party Certification Body
    • Propose any improvements in the system and procedures, as required.
    • Seek to develop a lesson learnt/feedback system that contributes and distributes information within the EPC team.

    Skills / Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred
    • Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
    • Read, write and speak fluent English with strong management, leadership and communication skills
    • 5+ years of related work experience accepted, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
    • Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015
    • Understanding of QA/QC principles and objectives
