  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Technical HSE Engineer.

    • To be accountable for the delivery of the technical and managerial content of design health & safety, environment & sustainability and design assurance services as assigned by the Manager, Technical HSE or his / her delegate
    • Responsible for supervising and undertaking various Technical HSE activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on the appointed projects
    • Provide technical and managerial support to the design health & safety, environment & sustainability and design assurance activities associated with Proposals and Projects

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering
    • 7+ years in process safety or technical safety in oil and gas, petrochemical and / or chemical processes
    • Should be trained and qualified as facilitator for hazop study, SIL Assessment, FMEA, What - if / Checklist
    • Strong in safety study such as Consequence Analysis, Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment, Escape, Evacuation, and Rescue Analysis, QRA / BRA
    • Knowledge in Human Factor Engineering is advantage
    • Familiar with relevant software’s i.e. DNV PHAST / SAFETI, FlareSIM, PHAWork or PHAPro, exSILentia etc.
