The Nuclear business provides engineering, consultancy, safety case support and project management to our customers’ operations within the nuclear sector as well as into non-nuclear sectors where our capabilities are transferrable. Wood is recruiting for a Manager/Managing Consultant for our Nuclear business. The role is responsible for maintaining existing and building new customer relationships, identifying opportunities, supporting the transition of opportunities into secured work through supporting the client in the development of their programmes as well as delivering work or acting as the responsible engineer across a range of tasks.
You will be joining an organisation that delivers integrated customer solutions that draw upon the global Wood skills base and our supply chain partners. Reporting to the Key Account Director, Generation Services, you will build on a strong business stream with an existing long-term customer to develop Wood Nuclear’s support in specific account areas and implement value-adding solutions to maximise the life of their current assets.
Based in the customer’s offices at Sizewell B Power Station, with the potential for occasional travel to Wood offices, the main responsibilities include, in collaboration with the existing team:
