    Join our collaborative team, working side by side with a global specialist chemicals company on a new and innovative project in the growing Lithium resources market to design, engineer and construct a world class processing facility.


    The greenfield project targeted to go into production in 2020 will produce Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate from a 3 train processing plant with a forecasted 60,000 per annum (Tpa) output. Further expansion plans into 2025 will see a total production of 100,000 tonnes per annum. The plant is to be constructed at the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area approximately 160 km south of Perth, Western Australia and 17 km north-east of the thriving regional centre of Bunbury.


    Project Specifics and Deliverables

    • Administration of a site contract to ensure compliance with the contract agreement, scope of work, specifications, quality, progress and manning levels.
    • Being on site to oversee the contractor’s progress
    • Liaise with other discipline superintendents to determine priorities
    • Follow the contractor’s progress to ensure it is in line with the project schedule
    • Ensure the contractor’s works are as per the project quality plan
    • Conducting weekly site meetings with the contractor
    • Maintain a detailed daily diary recording all matters pertaining to the contract, including instructions given, the days work areas, manning levels, equipment in use, problem areas, safety issues, industrial relations issues
    • Administration of the commercial aspects of the contract agreement, including the issuing of site instructions and month progress certificates after approval by the Construction Manager or their nominated delegate
    • Monitoring the delivery and supply of all free issue materials to the contractor
    • Recording of all “as built” information in accordance with the requirements of the Head Contract

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum 7 years EPCM in a site based commercial and contractual environment
    • Ability to schedule and multitask
    • Be a good problem solver
    • Knowledgeable in construction generally
    • Willingness to be part of a team
    • Knowledge of safety and industrial relations and commitment to compliance
    • Excellent communication both verbal and written
    • Ability to articulate and exemplify the purpose and ethos of the organisation
    • Thorough knowledge of and hands on experience with computers and associated software packages
    • Thorough knowledge of and hands on experience with, the development and monitoring of schedules
